Teaching Style

My class is always rooted in a theme. Woven in with conscious breath, smart strengthening and fluid movement, I aim for an appeal to the subtle. Though I enjoy pushing you to a physical challenge, I empower folks to come as they are and modify whatever they want.

Qualifications & Accomplishments

In addition to my formal Yoga Teacher Training, I have practiced yoga since 2007 and have made it my mission to expand on my body, mind and spirit. I am deeply curious about the many facets of the human experience.

What to expect in my class

I like to be real and not avoid the harder edges. I love rainbows and butterflies as much as the next gal’, but growth is often messy. I want us at the edge of our comfort zone, moving towards the best versions of ourselves.

How I got into fitness

There was a time when my favourite workout was cookies & video games. After a tremendously sedentary childhood, fitness and exercise was a slow build for me. I used to hate it and dread every last second. Now, I can’t go without it. It makes me feel alive. Each person has their journey, and it’s never too late to start.

Favourite way to sweat

Other than Yoga, my current passion is kettlebell training; moving weight through space on all planes really offers a unique kind of strengthening. I also love a messy, sweaty HIIT from time to time.
