YOGA

Teaching Style

We all come to our mat for various reasons. When I teach a class my main goal is to help each person tap into what they need to feel good in their body while connecting to their breath, taking the practice of movement to a deeper level. I create flows that are based on proper alignment and give freedom to make the mind/body connection.

What to expect in my class

A full-body workout with the perfect union of a strengthening yoga flow and Pilates class to make you sweat. Create long, lean muscles while burning fat with a HIIT-style Pilates component and eliminate the need to separate your yoga class from a fitness class.

How I got into fitness

I began at the age of 19 when I met my first personal trainer. He talked me into entering my first fitness competition a few years later and while I have since retired from fit competitions, movement and exercise has been a huge part of my life ever since.

Favourite way to sweat

Weight training, Pilates and hot yoga.

Fun fact

I can strict pull up with a 25 pound dumbbell wedged between my ankles.
