Mobility Tune Up with Dustin Pym (50 mins)

Join us on Saturday, October 1 for a Mobility Tune Up class with Dustin Pym. We are donating a complimentary class to raise awareness and funds in support of the Canadian Cancer Society’s CIBC Run for the Cure.

The CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run that raises funds for the Canadian Cancer Society, and is the largest single-day, volunteer-led event in Canada in support of the breast cancer cause. This year’s event is on Sunday, October 2, so join us the day before to stretch it out and warm up for the big run!

Loosen up, explore your ranges of motion, and get moving! In this feel-good class designed to rebalance your mind and body, you’ll mobilize, stretch, lengthen and loosen your joints and muscles to increase your range of motion, helping you to prepare for your next big run or workout.

Class price: Donate what you can
Suggested donation amount: $20
S&T team fundraising goal: $1000

How to participate:

1. Book your spot — this is a donate-what-you-can class, but you will need to create an account with Sweat & Tonic, if you don’t already have one.

2. Once you’ve booked your spot, make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society on S&T’s team donation page. Our goal is to hit $1000 with a suggested donation of $20 per participant, but would appreciate a contribution in any amount!

What do I need to bring?

Come dressed ready for movement, bring workout shoes, and a water bottle — and we’ll do the rest!

About the Canadian Cancer Society

The Canadian Cancer Society invests the funds raised into breast cancer research, support services, health education and advocacy programs. Over the past 20 years, CCS and the former CBCF have invested over $360 million in breast cancer research; funding more than 1,400 scientific and community grants. With the help of donors like you, we hope to reduce the number of people diagnosed with breast cancer, reduce mortality for those who develop the disease, and improve the quality of life for those affected.
